1) Cytokine is a soluble regulatory protein that act as intercellular message when release by certain cells
2) It is immune cytokines - hormone for immune system and hemapoeitic system
3) Non antigen - specific
4) Produce and immediately released following response to a stimulation
5) Once produced cannot be stored in the cell
6) Act as in small concentration and limited in local region
7) Have a short life
8) Act through specific receptor on cell surface
